It's been 10 years in the making - but with 3 rebrands, 1 trademark, 5 house moves, and countless cups of tea brainstorming with my dog Alto, I can now help you with all different types of dog training and behaviour, and all through the power of the internet.
The full story
My story began as a ānormalā dog trainer and behaviourist in 2013 - seeing dogs on 1:1s, classes and consultations (over a thousand in total!)
It gathered momentum and I started training celebrity dogs, teaching rooms full of other dog trainers, and appearing in the media because of the work that I was doing - sounds idyllic, doesnāt it?
Butā¦the dog training industry was changing.
Colleagues & mentors were dropping out one after another, unable to keep up with the change and the emotional toll it can take on you.
When the same thing started to creep up on me too; the exhaustion, the impostor syndrome, the sheer burn out - I knew it was crunch time. I could divorce from dog training and save my sanity, but that would mean leaving dog parents in the lurch with the ever increasing, dark side of social media dog training.
so, I stopped following the pack.
I took some courses, realigned my priorities, and took a deep plunge to totally change up my business & develop this online space. The courses are crafted by a clinical animal behaviourist (me!), yet beautifully packaged & presented so that dog parents & pros can get the very best, right at their fingertips.
...and created dog help with style & substance
Since then, we have now reached thousands of people & their companions worldwide - from the UK, to Canada; Australia, Spain & France. I have created multiple online courses, built a thriving social media presence, and hit number 2 on on The Dog Mum Mindset podcast.
